يتطلب الخدمة التسويقية والإعلانية لبرامج التدريب في إطار مشروع خطة التوسع التي ستدعم ما لا يقل عن 165 سيدة رائدة أعمال، وشباب، وخريجين جدد، بهدف تعزيز نمو السوق المحلي الفلسطيني وسد الفجوة بين المهارات التي يمتلكها الشباب والنساء والمهارات التي تحتاجها سوق العمل. سيتم تحقيق هذا من خلال تعزيز الثقافة الرقمية وريادة الأعمال، وبناء المهارات والقدرات للأطفال والشباب والرواد الطامحين وأصحاب الأعمال الصغيرة في القدس الشرقية ومحيطها. سيتضمن ذلك التعليم في مجال البرمجة ووظائف المستقبل والمهارات للقرن الحادي والعشرين، والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي، والمهارات ذات الصلة بريادة الأعمال.

تتمثل الخدمة المطلوبة في تزويد ١٢-١٥ مشاركًا بكافة المعلومات والموارد اللازمة لتنظيم سفرهم، وذلك في إطار مشروع الرواة. يهدف المشروع إلى دعم ٦٠ شابًا وشابة فلسطينيًا (١٩-٢٩ عامًا) لتعزيز قدراتهم في الحملات الرقمية كمدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان بهدف تعزيز حماية حقوق الإنسان في فلسطين، ورفع مستوى الوعي والفهم بين فلسطين والاتحاد الأوروبي، وتشجيع الابتكار وريادة الأعمال في مجال حقوق الإنسان.


الشروط والأحكام والوثائق المطلوب توفيرها

The organization manages a multi-million active portfolio of grants and service contracts to ensure the economy's access to the necessary means and resources for development and economic prosperity. Through its projects, LI leverages its expertise in research, strategy, and management to provide its beneficiaries with sustainable technical and financial assistance and build their capacity and resilience to adapt to different economic challenges.


Project background

In light of increased social tension and the spread of harmful media content in the MENA region, DIP aims to nurture the resilience of societies in Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon in the digital sphere. To achieve this, LI will bring together creative entrepreneurs, digital technology activists, and media professionals to support the development of innovative media and information literacy solutions, with a special focus on tackling disinformation. Ultimately, the project will find innovative, localized ways to make use of the ongoing digital transformation to develop and ensure the viability of quality media in the region.


Objective

As part of DIP, the technical assistance phase supports media startups through financial and technical aid, mentorship, and access to a global network of industry experts. This virtual ecosystem empowers team leaders and specialists to refine their ideas into market-ready media solutions. Following this phase, early adopter awareness and testing workshops help fully develop the tool by incorporating feedback from media professionals.

The workshop facilitator's role is to manage these workshops and support media startups in acquiring feedback, ensuring high engagement and interaction. This activity aims to connect solution developers with the media users who will ultimately use the products.


Scope of Work

  • Conducting awareness and testing sessions for DIP media startups, facilitating a total of 6 workshops. Organizing feedback sessions with diverse user groups, ensuring a broad range of perspectives.
  • Develop strategies to drive engagement and encourage participation in testing and feedback sessions.
  • Utilize social media, email campaigns, and other communication channels to recruit participants to attend the workshops.
  • Leverage expertise to provide detailed analyses and strategic recommendations for enhancing media solutions
  • Share industry knowledge, best practices, and insights relevant to the specific areas of focus during the workshops.
  • Collaborate effectively with the project team to ensure alignment and coordination, while adhering to the established timelines and deliverables outlined in the project plan.
  • Participate in team meetings, share insights and expertise, and contribute to the overall success of the virtual acceleration hub.


Expected Deliverables

The mentor is expected to submit deliverables associated with their SoW, along with any additional documents as requested by the DIP project team in later stages based on the nature of their work.

Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Any training materials or presentations used for the purpose of facilitating the workshops.
  • Documentation of the workshops, including screenshots, recordings, and attendance sheets.
  • Any reports if requested by the project team.


Qualifications Required

The ideal applicant should have a robust background and expertise in the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, along with the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in facilitating and managing media-related workshops.

Promoting Enrollment in the Digital Global Economy (EDGE): funded by The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), EDGE aims to create new income opportunities for unemployed Palestinians through a two-pronged approach: developing Palestinian entrepreneurial capacities and advancing freelancing agencies to unlock the sector’s full economic potential and increase employment among qualified women and youth. Through this project, we work towards creating equitable jobs and opportunities for youth and women to develop a sustainable and resilient model for the future of work.


Objective

The objective of this role is to conduct in-person awareness sessions at Palestinian universities to advertise the freelancing program and promote freelance work. These sessions will aim to increase the pipeline of applicants to the project and foster a culture of freelance and digital work as viable income-generating opportunities among students.

 

Scope of Work

1.      Awareness Campaigns:

  • Conduct in-person awareness sessions at local universities.
  • Promote the freelancing program and freelance work.

 

2.      Case Studies:

  • Present case studies from EDGE beneficiaries who have completed the training program and started generating income through freelance work.


3.      Engagement:

  • Engage with students and university staff to promote the benefits of freelancing.
  • Address queries and provide detailed information about the program.


Expected Deliverables

The expert(s) are expected to submit deliverables associated with their SoW, along with any additional documents as requested by the project team in later stages based on the nature of their work. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

●       Conduct a minimum of 2 awareness sessions at different 2 Palestinian universities.

●       Provide a detailed report on each session, including attendance, feedback, and follow-up actions.

●       Develop and distribute promotional material to support the awareness sessions.

●       Measure and report the level of engagement and interest generated from the sessions.


Qualifications Required

The expert(s) shall have extensive experience in the regional entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem, and shall have the following qualifications: 

●       Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or related field.

●       Minimum 3 years of experience in freelancing or digital work.

●       Proven experience in conducting awareness sessions or similar activities.

●       Excellent presentation and communication skills.

● Proficiency in English and Arabic.

2.      Conduct Skills Development Workshops:

  • Collaborate with partner universities to organize and deliver a series of skills development workshops.
  • Conduct up to six workshops: three at each of the two universities.
  • Engage guest speakers with relevant freelancing experience to provide additional insights and expertise.
  • Facilitate interactive and engaging workshop sessions to ensure active student participation.
  • Provide hands-on training and exercises to help students apply the skills learned during the workshops.
  • Foster an environment that encourages questions, discussions, and networking among participants.


3.      Evaluate and Report:

  • Assess the effectiveness of the workshops through feedback surveys and participant evaluations.
  • Compile an activity report on the workshops conducted.

The expert will identify key elements missing in current operations, products, services, and business models of Palestinian incubators and startups, and will establish partnerships to enhance market access and opportunities.


Scope of Work

1.      Market Expansion Readiness Assessment

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Palestinian incubators and startups.
  • Identify crucial elements lacking in their current operations, products, services, and business models that are essential for market expansion.
  • Develop a detailed report outlining the readiness status and areas for improvement.

 

2.      Facilitation of Market Linkages in GCC

  • Promote market connections between Palestinian incubators/startups and GCC incubators/accelerators.
  • Establish partnerships and collaborations to facilitate knowledge exchange, networking, and market access.
  • Identify and execute strategic steps to foster these linkages, ensuring mutual benefits for all involved parties.

 

3.      Strategic Recommendations and Implementation Plan

  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance market readiness based on the assessment findings.

 

Expected Deliverables

Activity report summarizing all activities, findings, and recommendations.

 

Qualifications Required

The expert(s) shall have extensive experience in the regional entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem, and shall have the following qualifications: 

●     Advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

●     5+ years in market expansion or business development.

●     Experience with incubators and startups, preferably in MENA.

●     Proven cross-border partnership skills.

●     Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

●     Excellent communication and networking skills.

●     Understanding of business environments and startup ecosystems in Palestine and the GCC.

●     Proficient in English and Arabic.
